Concept design for an office. Brooklyn Machine Works is a new aged, New York born, well branded company that created bicycles and bicycle parts. Their main concern is craftsmanship, and making the highest quality, best designed product they can. That being said, their image and brand, as a New York, street born, company is very important to them to represent.
The design focuses on major architectural elements, such as the reception desk, and the floating structure that houses the conference room. These elements, along with the surrounding architecture, help create a stylized brand for the company. Polished, yet worn wood represents how the company built their company out of a garage, and became something way beyond what they were given.
A classical penthouse design for a family of four in New York inspired from the Renaissance Era. A contemporary classical design was implemented, to serve as a bright, comforting space for the family.
Breaking the space up into individual areas makes the large flat more manageable and provides a comforting atmosphere. In addition, the smaller rooms sends undertones of a classical house.
Drift is a designer jewelry store design, focusing on the flow of people through the space, and architectural interest to keep people in the space. The design was to create a space as artistic as the product it dispalys.
This design was for an apartment complex's common space, where residents would gather to use the computer lounge, gym and billiards room. The shown areas are of the computer space, study room and media niche. The focus was to keep the space open and inviting. Thus the design uses light, bright materials. In addition, it lets the furniture nearest the floor, ground the design, while the taller furniture float off the ground.
